Brian Zembic Plastic Surgery Disaster

Canadian magician and high-stakes gambler specializing in blackjack and backgammon Brian Zembic (nickname: The Wiz) has reportedly had plastic surgery after he agreed to receive a set of 38C breast implants and keep them for one year in return for $US 100,000 (US$ 150,000 in 2013)!

In the late 90s Zembic, now 52, became popular as a man who would do anything to win a bet. His most famous wager was in 1996 after he had a boob job! The most outrageous thing though is that he still has the breast implants, because he became accustomed to them!

Zembic has appeared on numerous TV shows (such as "The Man Show", "Ripley's Believe It or Not!") and magazines to discuss his breast implants. He also has a movie in the works for his story. Fox Searchlight Pictures bought the rights to his story. The script has been completed and various stars have been attached like Drew Carey and David Duchovny.

Zembic reveals that part of the reason he hasn't had the implants removed is that "…every year when they renewed the rights, they kept saying: "Keep the tits so you can appear at the end of the movie. It'll be really cool." But David Higgins the producer attached to the film explains: "I'm not insisting that he keep his implants in; it's completely up to him," adding: "It would be great for marketing, of course, but we can always find another way."

In 2000 Zembic fathered a daughter, Mika with his then-wife. When asked about her dad's bizarre mammaries Mika was quoted as saying: "I know why you have boobs: Uncle Mike paid you money to put them in." In a 2006 interview he claimed that Mika was one of the few reasons he would have the implants taken out: if they caused her to be bullied in school, he would have them removed.

Paul Lawrence Extreme Transformation Into Enigma

Paul Lawrence, widely known as "The Enigma", has taken his body art to the extreme covering his body with blue puzzle pieces.

Lawrence is a sideshow performer, actor and successful musician who has undergone extensive body modification, including horn implants, ear reshaping, numerous body piercings and a full-body jigsaw-puzzle tattoo

His tattooing process started on December 20, 1992, under the needle of "Katzen the Tiger Lady," heavily tattooed herself, whom he later married and has since divorced. To date, the Enigma has had more than two hundred tattoo artists work on him, with as many as twenty-three underway at one time.

The Enigma was raised in Seattle and began studying music when he was six years old. In 1991, he was a founding member of the Jim Rose Circus, with which he toured until 1998. The Enigma then toured with Katzen, playing music and doing sideshow performances under the moniker "Human Marvels".

He performed at Universal Studios Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights event in fall 2007 with Serana Rose, performing several tricks with fire, electricity, power tools, blades, sword swallowing, pushing a moving power drill up his nose and swallowing various liquids, pumping them out of his stomach and swallowing them again. He has also performed at Detroit's Theatre Bizarre.

Erik Sprague Extreme Transformation Into Lizard

Erik Sprague, widely known as "The Lizardman", has taken his body modification to the extreme in order to look like a lizard.

Sprague, 41, before following his dream as a freak show and sideshow performer, was a Ph.D. candidate at the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.

In his own words: "I was a national merit scholar finalist, attended Hartwick College (Oneonta, NY) on a full academic scholarship and received a BA with Honors in Philosophy in 1994. In 1996 I began doctoral studies in philosophy at the University at Albany (Albany, NY). I left my doctoral work (ABD) in 1999 in order to pursue career opportunities as a performance artist full time".

After he began his transformation, he lives as an artist and an entertainer. He makes his living performing around the world. His show typically consists of a mix of stand-up, spoken word and sideshow stunts. He is also the front man for the band Lizard Skynard and he hosts the Jägermeister Music Tour, with bands including Disturbed, Slayer, and Slipknot.

His body modifications include the following: sharpened teeth, full-body tattoo of green scales, bifurcated tongue, subdermal implants and recently green-inked lips.

According to rumors, Sprague wished to get a tail transplant, but The Lizardman dismissed the rumor claiming that it would be impossible.

When asked about his body modifications, The Lizardman responded: "I have undergone an estimated 650-700 hours of tattooing. I have had several piercings, of which I currently retain and wear jewelry only in my half-inch diameter septum. Due to a severe reaction I stopped wearing jewelry in my one inch earlobes in February 2009 at which time they were unofficially the strongest pierced lobes in the world having successfully pulled cars on several occasions. As of 2012 I have begun working on building up my ears for lifting and pulling stunts once again. I have had five Teflon horns subdermally implanted above each of my eyes to form horned ridges. Four of my teeth have been filed into sharp fangs. And my tongue has been bifurcated".

As for who performed the modifications, The Lizardman was quoted as saying: "I have recently (2011) begun to have work done by Adam Walsh (Triple Crown, Austin, TX).  Other artists who have worked on me include Mike Tidwell of Dallas, TX and Mad Pup of Plattsburgh, NY. I pierced and stretched my own earlobes. Keith Alexander pierced my septum and then I stretched it. My implants were performed by Steve Haworth of Phoenix, AZ. My teeth were filed by Dr. Harvey Winter in Albany, NY who I was referred to by Dr. Lawrence Busino who split my tongue".

Before becoming The Lizardman, Eric was thinking a lot about his transformation. "At 18 I was so in love with the idea of being fully tattooed. I sketched and made lists of different themes. I thought of a maze at one point and polka dots and I would talk about my ideas with people and gauge reactions. I broke my design into pieces, it all started on my back", Sprague noted.

When it comes to define himself, Eric candidly admits: "I am a professional freak."

It has to be mentioned that The Lizardman lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Meghan and their pet ferrets.

Maria Jose Cristerna Extreme Transformation Into Vampire

Maria Jose Cristerna, widely known as "Mexican Vampire Woman", has taken her body art to the extreme in order to look like a vampire.

It is hard to believe that Cristerna was a former lawyer from a deeply religious family who tied the knot at the age of 17.

Cristerna, now 37, is also a devoted mother of four who abandoned her career as an attorney to become a tattoo artist. The reason she made such a drastic life change was the suffering years of domestic abuse.

Cristerna thinks that her vampire-inspired transformation began at age 12 when she got her first piercing. At age 12, Maria had her ears pierced with large jewelry and started stretching her earlobes. At 14, Maria convinced her dad to take her to get a tattoo and she got the first of many tattoos: a large black star on her shoulder.

Twenty years later, Maria has nearly 50 piercings and her body is almost 100% covered in tattoos…In addition to the body art and piercings, she also has subdermal implants into her skull to give the appearance of horns, as well as in her chest and forearms. She also got a vicious pair of fangs, which are permanent and are the result of cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.

"The horns I have are a symbol of strength and were implanted without anaesthetic," Cristerna was quoted as saying.

"I had the fangs done because I loved vampires as a little girl and I changed the color of my eyes so they were how I really wanted them to be," Cristerna revealed to the Sun.

Cristerna flaunted her image at a tattoo exhibition in Monterrey, Californa, but her transformation is not complete as she claims she wants to have more titanium horns implanted in the back of her head.

"The "Vampire Woman" was not something I thought of, it was a name that one of Mexico's major television stations baptized me with," she opened up to ABC News in one interview from the tattoo expo. "It doesn't necessarily bother me because it has helped me transcend to a new level. Yes, I do like vampires but they are only a dream, a fantasy," Cristerna admitted.

She explained to the HuffPost Weird News through a translator: "It's my vampire dream to be immortal! I have always loved Ripley cartoons, and have admired Ripley's since I was a little girl, so my dream came true."

Cristerna's dream though would not be fulfilled without the hard work of Ripley's sculpture team, led by Bruce Miller.

Miller told HuffPost Weird News: "Her head has been the biggest challenge. She has really long hair - dreadlocks - and we had to hoist them up over a light fixture to keep them out of the way."

"The hardest part is going to be duplicating the tattoos," Miller noted, adding: "They are so intricate. We have a lot of hours ahead of us."

Cristerna noted: "I'd like to remove the floating ribs to decrease the size of my waist and have more implants in my arms. It's a woman's vanity to want to look better!"

It has to be noted that Cristerna is considered the most modified woman in the world. Despite her bizarre looks she states that she lives a "normal life", working at her tattoo shop and helping her children with their homework.

Dennis Avner Plastic Surgery Disaster

Dennis Avner, widely known as "Cat man", though he preferred his Native American name "Stalking Cat", has undergone extensive plastic surgery in order to resemble his totem animal, the tiger.

Avner's modifications included:

1. extensive tattooing, including facial tattooing

2. hairline modification

3. piercing of his upper lip and transdermal implants on his forehead to facilitate the wearing of whiskers

4. facial subdermal implants to change the shape of the brow, forehead, and the bridge of the nose (a planned future implant on the top of his head for mounting tiger-like ears)

5. flattening of his nose via septum relocation

6. filing and capping of his teeth to have a more feline appearance

7. wearing green contact lenses with slit irises

8. having his ears pointed and the earlobes elongated

9. silicone injection in his lips, cheeks, chin, and other parts of his face

10. bifurcated upper lip

Avner, whose parents were of Huron and Lakota heritage, claimed that changing oneself to mimic one's own totem is an ancient Huron tradition. The former Navy sonar technician who worked as a computer programmer took on the name "Stalking Cat" and started his modifications after a talk with a Native chief who reportedly inspired him to "follow the ways of the tiger".

As a result of his bizarre image, Avner attained local celebrity status and frequently traveled to attend interviews and photo sessions. He appeared and was interviewed on such television and radio shows as Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Larry King Live, VH1's Totally Obsessed, Kerrang! Radio's The Night Before, BBC Choice's Anna in Wonderland (Episode 6), and Animal Planet's Weird, True & Freaky (2008 episode "Humanimals").

Many of Avner's body modifications were performed by Arizona-based artist Steve Haworth. The first artist to begin the extensive tattoo work on Avner's face was Larry Hanks of San Diego in 1985.

Glenn McGee, director of the Center for Bioethics at Albany Medical College in New York, revealed of Avner: "Cosmetic surgery is a practice based on informed consent that needs to balance the risks with the benefits. It is possible to have a coherent view that is nonetheless detrimental to one's well-being. This is a patient who's being harmed by medicine in the interest of his tradition."

Avner held the world record for the most body modifications. He died on November 5, 2012 at 54. His body was found in his Tonopah, Nevada home. Though no cause of death was officially stated, suicide was the suspected outcome.

Svetlana Pankratova "The Wold's Longest Female Legs"

According to Guinness World Records, the longest female legs measuring 132 cm (51.9 in) belong to Russian native Svetlana Pankratova.
Svetlana, who is a 6-foot-5, is an assistant coach for the George Mason High School girls' basketball team. Before becoming a coach in Falls Church, the lady with the longest legs in the world "also played basketball in Portugal, Israel, and Spain before retiring in 2000," wrote CBS DC in a news report on March 11, 2013.

While having the longest legs was an advantage in kindergarten, it became a disadvantage in high school. Svetlana claims that life as a teenager with the longest legs "wasn't easy because kids do tease you...They tease whenever something is - I wouldn't say not normal - but when something is different. So I would get teased a lot for being tall."

"I never thought about it when I was growing up," Pankratova was quoted as saying. "I just never paid attention to my legs."

According to Guinness World Records, it was on July 8, 2003, in Torremolinos, Spain, that Svetlana Pankratova's legs were verified to be the world's longest legs.
